high summer 22
inspired by our love for a lazy summer day spent close to the water, we imagine this collection wandering the tide pools, splashing in the first of many doggy paddles, and lingering along pebble beaches collecting treasures. we can all but feel the rocks between our toes and imagine the perfect day ends with shaking pebbles out of our swimsuits after a long day spent romping along the coastline.
we started making our swim collection from the recylced fabric, Econyl, last year and now can't imagine using anything else. made from regenerated, discarded ocean plastics (fishnets and any kind of nylon waste), it's durable and doesn't lose its shape. its a matchmade when we are able to create something that helps takes pressure off our earth, all the while, inspiring memories that will last for years to come.
I’m so excited to finally share the first drop of our Spring/Summer collection. Inspired by a trip to the San Juan Islands, the collection is meant to evoke sailing trips, small seaside towns, beaches where you may need a cardigan more than you need sunscreen, seafood on piers, and unstructured long days gathering treasures near the water.
Our fabrics this season are intended to evoke nostalgic memories - linens in sumptuous earthy tones, familiar Liberty of London prints in bright joyful colors, and workhouse stripes and denims, all made for mixing and matching. Each drop approaching high summer gets brighter and more playful. We have 12 new silhouettes this season - some more polished silhouettes with nods to nautical styles (a puff sleeve, a sailor collar) but nothing too fussy. I hope you love and your kids love the collection and, most importantly, create wonderful summer memories in it.
